About the Artist
Stephanie Laufenburger has been china painting and teaching the fired art form for over 35 years. Over the years she’s built a base of clientele nationwide, to form everlasting friendships doing commissioned hand painted porcelain pieces, personalized tile murals for the home, custom sinks, stained glass and glass lamps.
Stephanie is currently promoting the fine art of china painting by teaching classes in her home studio. It’s with a true passion for the fired arts that she invests her time and talent to teach others and encourage their own personal style.
With Stephanie’s artistic skill and talent she is a natural at restoration of damaged porcelain, china, pottery, figurines, glass ware, marble, soapstone, picture frames, asian art screens, antiques and collectibles, to mention a few. She is accepting requests for repairs of all items as well as cleaning oil paintings. Please contact her for an appointment and estimate. Stephanie continues to travel to study with other experienced china painters to expand her knowledge and skill. She’s furthered her restoration skills training at Tindell’s Restoration School and Mile High Antique Repair. She is proudly associated with china painting associations, including the World Organization of China Painters, International Porcelain Artist and Teachers Assoc. and the South West Idaho China Painters Assoc.
